We worked with Lucas for a period of 3 months buying our 27 ft Chaparral. The boat was dry docked about an hour from his shop. We made many trips prior to purchasing and Lucas was always available. He is super knowledgeable and always found us answers quickly if he didn’t know something about the boat. His customer service, honesty, knowledge and availability are 5 stars for our experience. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to by a boat!!!

I wanted to share my appreciation of the Parma Marine team, but particularly Lucas. If you are in search of a boat or simply selling your existing boat, you will not be disappointed in the service Lucas will provide. It is not common to see the excellent communication, follow up, and trustworthiness Lucas exhibits. To further cement this, he is also a licensed captain and truly understands the boats he sells (or buys), and can offer assistance in the handling of the boat, post purchase (which he graciously did for me, spending 1/2 day to help me learn to drive the boat safely.) Lucas was the Sales broker when I purchased my first boat. Needless to say...I was no expert. : ) While his primary responsibility was as the seller agent, I quickly came to trust him. I felt he sincerely advocated for me as the buyer, knowing my situation. Fast forward a few years......When it came time to upgrade to a larger boat, it was a no brainer to have Lucas sell my current one. Within a few shorts months (over the winter), Lucas was able to sell it for what I believe was a win/win for both me and the buyer. Next came a much more complicated buying process. There was no inventory for what I wanted unless I acquiesced into a salt water version. I was committed to finding fresh water. Without going into every detail (long process), this lead to a boat in Quebec, Canada. Being an international purchase, with the added difficulty of the language barrier (French speaking), Lucas was with me every step of the way, to include trips to Montreal for the winter survey and subsequent spring water trial, custom and registration paperwork requirements, and helping support the logistics of getting the boat from Montreal to Lake Erie (via the canal / lock systems). It was a complicated process with many hurdles, but because of Lucas I was able to make it happen. And lastly, as mentioned, Lucas spent a 1/2 day training me on the new boat (a flybridge). What a great added value from your broker (learning from a Captain). Thank you again, Lucas. You're the best!

We worked with Lucas to find our new boat. He actually showed us a few boats over a two year period. Once we selected our boat he arranged everthing from soup to nuts. He even took us out on a sea trial, explained everything on the boat and how it worked. He spent hours with us...that was much appreciated. He was super thorough, very nice young man. And ...he really knows his stuff. You can tell he's been around boats his whole life and is passionate about boating. It's not just a job for him..and it shows. A++ Experience!

We purchased a new Extreme 645 Gameking from Lucas through Parma Marine. We saw the boat at the Detroit Boat Show and worked with Lucas and Parma over the next months to sea trial in Lake Erie (in a Gale advisory — a great test!) specifying our outfitting and monitoring the rigging through to delivery to our port on Lake Michigan. Lucas was knowledgeable, patient, responsive, and has followed us after the sale to assure all the (normal) kinks are worked out. This was a very personalized experience. The service was FAR beyond anything I hoped for. I have had great support for all the acclimation, and Lucas was instrumental in getting me in the right boat for our needs.
